Job Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Beverage Manager is to ensure a seamless and exceptional beverage service experience for guests. This position will oversee the beverage operations across the property, including casino bars, restaurant bars, lounges, banquets and catering functions, entertainment venues, and other beverage service areas. The Beverage Manager plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of excellence and guest satisfaction among team members while ensuring consistent service standards, operational efficiency, and financial performance across all beverage outlets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees all property-wide beverage operations, including casino beverage service, bars, lounges, restaurants, banquets, special events, entertainment venues, and any other beverage outlets; identifies and defines operational needs and implements improvements that enhance both the guest and team member experience
- Abides by all City, State, Federal, and IGB requirements pertaining to serving alcohol
- Develops and implements customer service and steps of service training programs to ensure outstanding service to all guests at all times
- Directs the development and administration of controls for all phases of assigned outlets in an economical and profitable manner while maintaining established standards
- Develops staffing schedules that assure the highest service levels with maximum productivity
- Develops and monitors status of budgets and cost control
- Develops and manages beverage and cocktail programs across all property outlets, including casino beverage operations, restaurants, lounges, banquets, special events, and entertainment venues; responsible for product selection, menu innovation, and maintaining brand and service consistency.
- Responsible for the financial performance, profit and loss, inventory controls, labor management, and cost containment of all assigned beverage operations throughout the property.
- Interview, select, train, and develop team members through coaching and mentoring in accordance with the Expectation Guide. Foster an environment of open communication and address team members' concerns in a timely and fair manner. Conducts periodic team member performance appraisals in accordance with Company Policy.
- Provides visible leadership for all beverage operations across the property, establishing clear expectations, promoting accountability, and fostering a culture aligned with Wind Creek's service standards and values.
- Continually seeks innovative methods and programs to promote the beverage operation and the property as a whole
- Interacts with guest to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels
- Obtains and retains all pertinent information regarding daily promotions, beverage specials, property promotions, station assignments and scheduled entertainment and assures that all staff are informed of said information
- Assumes special projects, duties and responsibilities as needed per the direction of the Director of Hospitality
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
- High School diploma or GED– required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Related Field AND two (2) years Supervisory experience in a high volume, multiple shift, beverage outlet– required
- OR Four (4) years’ experience in a management position in a high volume, multiple shift, beverage outlet– required
- OR Three (3) years’ experience in a F&B Supervisory position with Wind Creek Hospitality– required
- Problem solving and decision-making ability
- Extensive knowledge of beverage products and service techniques
- After hire, successful obtainment of BASSET or ServeSafe certification is required to retain position
- Ability to maneuver in all areas of assigned outlets, including all beverage bars and service areas
- Ability to lift and carry up to forty (40) pounds
- Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest and team member conflicts
- Willingness to travel and participate in training when directed
- Proven ability to develop a budget
- Proven ability to understand financial data and manage to a budget
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with a computer-based time and attendance system and the InfoGenesis Point of Sale system-preferred
- Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work and deal effectively in a diverse, ever-changing and fast-paced environment
- Willing to work a variety of hours and days of week to ensure your presence and support is felt by the team
- Must have an Occupational Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position.
Base Pay:
- Compensation: $57,900.00-$79,000.00 annually, with starting pay based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and skills.
