Game Performance Supervisor

Job Overview:

The Game Performance Supervisor must be knowledgeable in all aspects of machine operations and is responsible for the maintenance and repairing of the machines. The Game Performance Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision, training, technical direction and guidance to co-workers in installing, servicing, adjusting and repairing of all electronic bingo machines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Ensures that applicable operating policies and procedures are consistently followed,

including Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS and TICS) and financial internal controls related to game operation

·         Observes machine vendors to ensure adherence to applicable policies and procedures

·         Regularly communicates and coordinates with the Game Performance Manager on projects, personnel issues including scheduling, recognition and discipline, existing and emerging game technology, game and system outages

·         Assist Game Department management with the safeguarding of gaming machines and other gaming technology including but not limited to maintaining game repair parts, inventory, and inventory logs

·         Inspects machines and equipment daily, assists in coordinating movement of electronic bingo machines, requisitions of parts, supplies, forms and other required equipment for the efficient operation of the department

·         Models and maintains positive working relationships with other key gaming related and service departments including by not limited to IT, Game Operations, Beverage Service, Housekeeping and Security

·         Assist Gaming Department management in team accountability in the achievement of service time targets, scheduled project work, game and system uptime targets, and other benchmarks or targets that management deems applicable

·         Provides exceptional customer service and maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff

 Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
  • High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
  • Associate’s Degree in Related field– required
    • OR Two (2) years’ Supervisory experience– required
    • OR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department – required
    • OR Two (2) years’ experience in Game Performance– required
  • Three (3) or more years of recent and related gaming experience in a casino operation, preferably installing, servicing, adjusting and repairing electronic gaming machines as a technicianrequired
  • One (1) year experience providing supervision, training, technical direction and guidance to co-workers – required Job
  • Experience in performing “bench level” electronic work– preferred
  • Formal training in the repair and troubleshooting of a variety of mechanical and/or electronic equipment
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to write routine correspondence; Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Willing and able to stay current on gaming related technology; Possess adequate computer skills and working knowledge of electronics
  • Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
  • Willing and able to walk for the duration of the shift
  • Willing and able to bend, stoop and kneel
  • Able to use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms
  • Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.  Corrective lenses are ok in meeting these requirements
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Willing and able to work odd and irregular hours including holidays, promotions and weekends
  • Must have and maintain valid state-issued operator driver’s license
  • Willing and able to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
  • Willing and able to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
