The Gaming Technician I maintains the operational order of all gaming machines and related equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and analyzes reports related to game equipment performance
  • Prepares and tests gaming machines
  • Maintains a sense of urgency in responding to calls for assistance or when dispatched
  • Conducts scheduled preventive maintenance on all assigned electronic bingo gaming devices
  • Moves and installs machines as needed
  • Researches and diagnoses game equipment malfunctions
  • Troubleshoots, reads meters and performs regular maintenance
  • Communicates all information to fellow Technicians and Game Management
  • Takes initiative to ask for and offer help to guests, co-associates and management
  • Works closely with Vendor Technicians
  • Adheres to MICS/TICS, Company and Departmental Expectations
  • Helps maintain a working inventory of parts and supplies
  • Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

  • High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
  • One (1) year experience in a casino Gaming or casino IT department (Class II or Class III)– preferred
  • OR two (2) years’ experience working with computers or electronics– preferred
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver at least 50 lbs
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 150 pounds using a dolly
  • Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
  • Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
  • Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
