Job Overview:
The Electrician will analyze information and data to evaluate and select the best solution for electrical problems in the Casino. The electrician will schedule and conduct routine electrical maintenance, as well as troubleshoot, and work to anticipate and prevent causes of operational failures. Electrician will build and extend circuits, as directed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installs electrical equipment, machines, wiring, or programs according to code or standards
- Evaluates and determines causes of electrical error or failures and executes resolution
- Determines and selects appropriate tools needed on the job for repairs and installation
- Evaluates and considers relative costs and benefits of potential actions with choosing the best electrical solution
- Monitors, processes, and reviews events, environment or materials to detect electrical problems or issues
- Conducts routine inspections of the property and Casino electrical system
- Creates and implements safety procedures for the property relating to electricity
- May frequently act as Maintenance Technician, to supplement other disciplines, when electrical demands are low
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
- High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- Must have and maintain valid state-issued operator driver’s license-required
- Five (5) years of commercial or industrial electrical maintenance experience - required (residential experience not accepted, construction experience not accepted)
- Current state-issued Electrical Contractor or Journeyman’s License-required
- Must have experience with troubleshooting electrical systems
- Must be familiar with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70)
- Must have the ability to work with up to 600v applications
- Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and other related documents
- Must have good hearing and eyesight
- Must have ability to read, write, and understand English
- Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Must have a valid and current State Driver’s License and an insurable driving record for purposes of driving company vehicles as required
- Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
- Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
