The Retail Agent plays a vital role in the guest experience on property by greeting and assisting guests purchasing gifts and other essential retail items.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Projects a positive image
  • Greets all guests
  • Provides prompt, friendly and courteous service to all guests in a confidential manner, and maintains the confidentiality of all gaming records
  • Actively assists guests in the shopping process by offering assistance
  • Disseminates information to guests regarding the property, hotel, sale items, promotions, etc.
  • Ensures that all transactions are properly recorded
  • Actively utilizes multiple Software Applications used in Casino Operations
  • Utilize CMP to enroll guests to Player’s Club, generate rewards cards upon demand, update player information as needed, and reset pins
  • Monitors retail space to ensure it is clean, in order and well maintained 
  • Performs miscellaneous tasks – cash handling, check authorizations, faxing, copying
  • Maintains cash drawer – drops cash as required and submits supporting documentation 
  • Answers telephones, handling calls as necessary
  • Assists with merchandise inventory
  • Actively resolves guests’ issues and disputes
  • Reports maintenance and housekeeping issues as necessary
  • Re-stocks merchandise and supplies
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

 

 

Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

  • High School diploma or GED required or enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
  • Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills required (skills test may be administered)
  • Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality, assume responsibility, and have excellent guest service skills
  • Must be able to learn and work with various Software Applications (including Web-based applications)
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment – phones, computers, keyboard etc.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
  • Willing and able to work various hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
  • Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
