The Surveillance Agent II is responsible for observing, documenting, and reporting activities associated with gaming operations; adherence to regulatory requirements and procedures; and following approved surveillance department procedures. The Surveillance Agent II will also assist members of casino management in the resolution of customer or employee related disputes. In the absence of the Surveillance Supervisor, the Surveillance Agent II will also be responsible for supervising, overseeing, administratively directing, coordinating, monitoring and implementing all activities within the Surveillance Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts yourself in accordance with PCI Gaming purpose, expectation guide, and department procedures
- Trains in all aspects of surveillance and casino topics to include, camera and equipment utilization, cheating methods and detection techniques, game protection, casino department procedures and other necessary staff training or development
- Utilizes necessary surveillance cameras, equipment and software to identify, record, document and report any suspicious behavior or illegal activity
- Observes, documents, records, and reports regulatory or procedural violations
- Actively monitors, observes, records and reports daily casino activity
- Monitors sensitive areas and restricted access areas to ensure only authorized personnel enter those areas
- Accurately complete routine video reviews, reports, log entries, video reviews, and all other functions
- Monitors specific processes to ensure compliance with cash handling regulations and procedures
- Maintains an awareness of current regulations, controls, policies and standards for adherence and compliance with requirements
- Maintains security of designated areas and the confidentiality of all relevant information
- Reports any technical issues, suspicious behavior/activity, security and safety risks, any illegal activity, improprieties, and violations to the department management
- Conducts special observations as directed by department management
- Assists with investigations when instructed by Director of Regulatory Compliance
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
In the absence of the Surveillance Supervisor (or above) the following duties and responsibilities apply:
- In the absence of the Surveillance Supervisor, this position is responsible for the team members and supervision of the Surveillance Department
- Supervises Surveillance Agents, shift operations, staffing levels and scheduling
- Trains all surveillance staff as required
- Reviews all surveillance reports, verify incidents being reported and monitor all paperwork for accuracy
- Coordinates with security and other appropriate departments and/or personnel when surveillance discovers a matter which needs further investigation or attention
- Assists in the maintenance of surveillance equipment to include reporting repair concerns in a timely manner as per the TICS (Tribal Internal Control Standards) and the PCI Gaming Authority, System of Internal Controls, Chapter 8 – Surveillance manual
- Performs other duties as assigned by the department management
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
- High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- One (1) year of casino surveillance experience or directly related field– required
- Six (6) months of previous supervisory experience– preferred
- Must have intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Word and report writing, which a report writing assignment will be administered prior to any interview
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Must possess a high level of maturity with the ability to self-manage
- Willing to work odd and irregular hours including night and weekend schedules, and hours are subject to change at any time with minimal notice
- Due to the dynamic nature of this position, job duties and responsibilities can change without notice
- Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Must have a valid and current State Driver’s License and an insurable driving record for purposes of driving company vehicles as required
- Must be pre-licensed by the Tribal Gaming Commission as a requirement for this position
- Must maintain a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
- Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
