Dear Illinois Gaming Board,

My name is Rosemary McGathey and I have been a resident of East Hazel Crest for over 70 years. My husband and military veteran, Richard McGathey, and I raised nine children in this community. They all attended local schools and have mostly raised their families in East Hazel Crest as well.

I support the south suburban casino being located in Homewood and East Hazel Crest because it will bring much needed economic development to the area.

I strongly believe that investments and new business like a casino not only help keep our residents in East Hazel Crest because of the job opportunities they spur new business and result in added tax revenue for our area.
