She battled leukemia three times before receiving a bone marrow transplant that saved her life. To ensure that no kid must endure suffering and that a treatment may be found, she and her parents founded this event at Lakewood Golf Course in Point Clear. It takes place every March and has already raised $1.2 million to support Children’s of Alabama!
