I am writing to express my support of locating the Wind Creek Hospitality Casino and Entertainment Destination in East Hazel Crest and Homewood.

All entities concerned will benefit from this location. Wind Creek will benefit from the easy accessibility afforded by a close proximity to I-80. A location on Halsted Street is also easy for customers to access and find.

This location involves two stable, well-established communities with strong leadership.

The towns of East Hazel Crest and Homewood and their residents will benefit from job creation and Wind Creek’s promise to give back to the community.

As a business owner on 175th Street in East Hazel Crest for approximately 25 years and a former long-time Homewood resident, I feel qualified to offer my opinion on this subject.
