Comprised of veteran musicians from the Lehigh Valley, The Weekenders rock your favorite end-of-the-week dance playlist—live! Formed in 2018, The Weekenders took home The Lehigh Valley Music Awards’ Outstanding New Band in 2019 and recently were voted by fans as Lehigh Valley Style Magazine’s Best Local Band of 2023. The band is led by Mark Prestifilippo and Molly Herman’s energetic vocals and backed by Kris Ewaniuk on guitar, Wade Stoneback on keys, Joe Harvey on Bass, and Todd Leibenguth on Drums.

DJ JOEL SHIMER FROM WZZO

Joel discovered his passion for radio at the age of 17 and has been immersed in the world of broadcasting ever since. Beginning his journey behind the mic during his high school years, Joel has carved out a notable career, now hosting his own show on 95-1 ZZO in his hometown of Allentown, Pennsylvania.

A true music enthusiast, Joel's love for tunes extends beyond the studio. Post-show, you'll likely find him at home with a beer in hand, surrounded by the booming sound of a record from his extensive vinyl collection. In addition to his radio pursuits, Joel showcases his musical talents by playing guitar in local bands and runs a thriving full-service DJ business on the side.

Not one to limit himself, Joel also takes the stage as a host for weekly events like Trivia and Music Bingo at various bars across the greater Lehigh Valley, adding yet another dynamic layer to his diverse and engaging career in the world of entertainment.
