1. Participants must be at least 21 years of age and may not be enrolled in the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program, listed on the IGB Board Exclusion List, or barred from the casino. Participants must sign up with a valid form of government-issued photo identification.
2. Contestants must be 21 years of age or older on or before March 15, 2026.
3. Contestants agree to truthfully answer questions and to make full disclosure regarding any question asked at any point in time related to this contest by Wind Creek Chicago Southland.
4. Contestants must be a legal resident of the United States.
5. Contestants may be subject to all Federal and State law requirements regarding taxed earnings from activity, conducted at Wind Creek Chicago Southland.
6. Contestants must sign and agree to a media release, granting consent to be video recorded and/or have their pictures taken during the duration of this promotion.
7. It is required that all applicants sign and submit a copy of the rules document as a condition for entering the contest at all stages including the open audition.

9. Contestants shall remain in an area designated by the Promotion Team twenty minutes prior to and until the conclusion of the competition rounds.
   1. Any contestant who misses their name or number being called will forfeit their spot and be placed at the end of the performance line at the discretion of the promotions team.
10. Comedy performance limit is 3 minutes unless otherwise authorized by Wind Creek Chicago Southland.
    1. Comedy performance will be recorded for posting on our website.
    2. Comedy performances over 3 minutes may be cut off.
11. To maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive entertainment environment at Wind Creek Chicago Southland, all comedic material performed or submitted by contestants must comply with the following standards:
    1. No profanity, vulgar language, or slurs of any kind.
12. All jokes must be original. If any jokes are found to be plagiarized, the contestant may be disqualified.
13. Contestants, their family members, or anyone associated with them must behave respectfully while on the premises. Any form of offensive behavior—such as yelling, inappropriate language, aggression, or disrespect toward staff, or other contestants—will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification or removal from the event.
14. No alcohol or smoking is allowed on stage while performing.
15. All expenses, including but not limited to food, gas, mileage, hotel, wardrobe, and Comedy performance preparation, will be the sole responsibility of the contestant.
16. Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino will not pay any Contestant, Contest Winner, or person associated with a Contestant or Contest Winner any amount other than stated winning prize amounts to winning Contestants.
17. No payment by Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino will be made to any agent, manager, promoter, or other person associated with any contestant.
18. Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino will allow the public to attend and watch performances.
19. Upon completion of this competition, all videos recorded for evaluation will be deleted.
20. Upon completion of the Open Audition Round, the videos recorded for consideration will be uploaded to the Laugh Your Way – Chicago landing page at https://windcreek.com/chicagosouthland/laugh-your-way
21. The public will be able to vote once per day during the open voting period.
22. The competitors will be able to promote their videos to their social media networks to generate additional engagement.

Additional Rules & Conditions

23. As a condition to participate, Contestants agree to be recorded, filmed and broadcast through various media channels as determined by Wind Creek Chicago Southland.
24. No compensation will be provided for contestant's media appearance or appearances as a result of this Promotion.
25. Finder’s Fee: As a condition to participate, Contestant agrees that if he or she becomes a professional Comedian within three years of being declared a Cash Prize Winner of this Promotion, upon the request of Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino, Contestant shall perform up to three Comedy shows over a period not to exceed three years in a venue or venues as determined by Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino, with reasonable travel costs to be paid by Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino. If requested by Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino, Contestant agrees to work in good faith to schedule a comedy show stipulated in this paragraph.
26. As a condition of participation, the Contestant agrees not to intentionally make any public statements that disparage Wind Creek Chicago Southland, its owners, affiliates, or employees during the promotion period or at any time thereafter.
27. Noncompliance with any rule may result in disqualification of the contestant at the sole discretion of Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino.
28. Decisions of the fan favorite winner are final. No decisions may be protested.
29. No arguing is allowed by a contestant, family of a contestant, or associate of a contestant.
30. Times, dates, and rules may be changed or modified at the discretion of Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino.
